Shatter Your Cognition for Wealth
Embrace the Truth Beyond Your Beliefs
Want to make money? First, break free from your own limited beliefs. The core of breaking through cognition is to let go of self-righteousness. When you think you’re always right, you shut out other people’s opinions. Only when you’re humble can you let the truth flow into your mind.
It’s said that a thousand readers have a thousand Hamlets, meaning different people have different interpretations. But do a thousand people really have a thousand different cognitions? No, probably only a few dozen, around 40, based on my extensive experience.
Reading different opinions is like throwing a stone. If it hits a rock wall, it makes a clear sound; if it falls into water, it creates ripples; if it lands in soil, it sinks deep. This different impact corresponds to different cognitions, and the stone represents viewpoints and words.
Articles are like thrown stones, forming different conclusions in people’s minds. The author’s intended message is there, but getting the reader to understand is a luxury.
Making money is the same. There are words that can help you earn, but once spoken, they often lose their impact in your eyes because your cognition reshapes them into insignificance.
So-called ‘throwing a brick to attract jade’ is meant to draw out someone’s precious cognition, but most of the time, it attracts something worthless.
Cognition cannot be changed by external forces. External forces can only provide opportunities, not directly change a person. I’ve rarely seen someone change just because of someone else’s words.
If a person is moved by a single sentence, it’s because they already had a seedling of that idea in their heart, giving them the chance to be moved.
Most of the articles I write to change people are self-inflicted pain, not only failing to gain respect but also attracting criticism.
For some, I’m not helping but causing trouble by shaking the very foundation they cannot afford to be shaken.
Yet, if left to face it alone, people will evade, ignore, like the topic of making money.
Everyone is concerned about making money because everyone needs it. Some niche topics may never be of interest to many people, but making money is a topic that most can’t avoid.
However, it’s not as popular as you’d think. Many people disdain to read about it, consciously avoid it, and even resist it when they do. Not many are genuinely willing to learn.
Many things become hidden knowledge not because they’re hidden but because people are full of contradictions.
Money is a fundamental issue, yet people are reluctant to face it straightforwardly, only accepting a little reality after much hesitation, and then pridefully celebrating minor progress.
Behind all this is cognition at play.
Only a harsh reality can make people realize the importance of money, but as soon as they catch their breath, they become complacent, unable to sustain forced actions, just like the chaotic schedule after quitting a job.
Nothing that isn’t internalized truly belongs to you.
Breaking cognition allows you to see opportunities. In your original cognition, you’re either successful or a failure. If successful, you won’t listen to others; if failed, you might consider others’ opinions. But if they don’t align with your cognition, you won’t agree.
A stubborn person doesn’t want change; they want validation. When others don’t validate them, their cover is blown, revealing they were seeking comfort.
People immerse themselves in their cognition because everyone believes they’re right, perfectly consistent in their own world.
Without the need to communicate with others and potentially discover their mistakes, people would never have the chance to change.
The only proof of right or wrong is the result, as it’s hard to judge who’s right or wrong based on diverse expressions. Only a singular result can measure it.
Before the result, no one can argue or make excuses.
There’s a judgment standard in reality: making money. Some don’t like it, but it’s the simplest and most efficient way. Many can’t get past this hurdle.
When can people face common problems without making excuses? That’s the opportunity to break cognition.
We’re mostly wrong most of the time.
Reality is the standard, and many say reality is wrong.
But reality has no right or wrong; it just exists, not favoring or bullying anyone.
If you feel reality is targeting you, it’s because you can’t pass its test. There are so many poor people; does reality target them specifically?
Once you have money, you’ll feel the pressure of reality vanish instantly. It doesn’t care who you are or what you think, as long as you have money. It’s that simple.
I used to think I was right, so I couldn’t accept many things because accepting new things was painful.
But this pain wasn’t because I was wrong or weak, only confident in a small circle. It’s only when you step out and compare that you realize how weak you are.
It would be fine if everyone could progress from difficulties, but some people retreat when faced with difficulties. This kind of cognition not only exists but is quite common.
When I started thinking I was wrong, many things became acceptable, and life took a turn for the better.
Because I’m not stubborn anymore, I don’t care about face. A wrong person has no right to face. Without the shackles of dignity, you can listen to any words.
We’re mostly strangers to each other, with no grudges. Don’t hold a grudge over a single sentence. Think about why they said that to you. There must be a reason.
